Privacy Policy.

We believe personal information should be handled responsibly, transparently and only for a clear purpose. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it and the choices and rights available to you.

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the SaleSycle website, through our Sales Engine Diagnostic, when you contact us directly, and during our normal business communications.

01

Who we are

SaleSycle is a trading name of JV MedTech Consulting.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, JV MedTech Consulting is the data controller for personal information collected through SaleSycle. This means we determine why and how that personal information is processed.

If you have any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, you can contact us at:

enquiries@salesycle.com

02

Information we collect

We collect personal information that you choose to provide to us, including when you complete a form, use the Sales Engine Diagnostic or contact us directly.

Depending on how you interact with SaleSycle, this may include:

  • Your name.
  • Your business email address.
  • Your company or organisation.
  • Your role or other business information you provide.
  • Information contained in an enquiry or message you send to us.
  • Responses you provide when completing the Sales Engine Diagnostic.
  • Information about the commercial challenges or areas of interest you choose to discuss with us.

We may also receive limited technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser or device information and basic server or security logs, where this is generated by the services used to operate and secure the website.

We do not intentionally collect special category personal data through the SaleSycle website and ask that you do not include sensitive personal information in website forms unless it is genuinely necessary.

03

How we use your information

We only use personal information where we have a clear business or legal reason for doing so.

We may use your information to:

  • Respond to an enquiry or request.
  • Contact you about a conversation you have asked us to have.
  • Review and respond to a Sales Engine Diagnostic submission.
  • Understand the commercial issues or services that may be relevant to your organisation.
  • Prepare for and manage discussions about potential consulting, training or commercial support.
  • Deliver services where you or your organisation becomes a SaleSycle client.
  • Maintain appropriate business records.
  • Operate, maintain and protect our website and communications.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, accounting or other legitimate business obligations.
04

Our lawful basis for using personal information

UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for processing personal information.

Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on:

Legitimate interests

We may process business contact information where it is reasonably necessary for the legitimate interests of operating SaleSycle, responding to business enquiries, developing appropriate business relationships, maintaining our services and protecting our business.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider those interests against the rights and interests of the individual concerned.

Steps before entering into a contract

Where you ask us to discuss, quote for or provide a service, we may process information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Performance of a contract

Where services have been agreed, we may process information where necessary to deliver those services and manage the resulting business relationship.

Legal obligations

We may process or retain information where necessary to meet applicable legal, regulatory, accounting or taxation requirements.

Consent

Where we specifically ask for consent for a particular type of processing, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

05

The Sales Engine Diagnostic

The SaleSycle Sales Engine Diagnostic is designed to help businesses reflect on aspects of their commercial environment and identify areas that may benefit from further discussion.

If you choose to submit your diagnostic results to us, we may receive your contact details, organisation details, diagnostic responses and any additional information you provide.

We use this information to review the submission, understand the areas highlighted by your responses and, where requested, discuss those findings with you.

Completing or submitting the Sales Engine Diagnostic does not automatically add you to a general marketing mailing list.

The diagnostic is intended as a business discussion and reflection tool. We do not use diagnostic responses to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

06

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information.

We may use trusted service providers to help us operate SaleSycle and its website. Depending on the service being used, these may include providers of:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure.
  • Website form processing.
  • Email and business communications.
  • IT, security and technical services.
  • Professional accounting, legal or advisory services.

Our website forms currently use Formspree to receive and process website submissions. Website infrastructure may also involve services used to host, deliver and protect the SaleSycle website.

Where third parties process personal information on our behalf, we expect them to handle that information appropriately and only for the purposes for which the service is being provided.

We may also disclose information where required by law, where necessary to establish or defend legal rights, or where required by an appropriate regulatory or public authority.

07

International processing

Some of the technology and service providers used to operate SaleSycle may process or store information outside the United Kingdom.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism or safeguard applies where required under UK data protection law.

You can contact us if you would like further information about the safeguards relevant to the processing of your personal information.

08

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, or where a longer period is required for legal, accounting or legitimate business reasons.

The appropriate retention period depends on the nature of the information and our relationship with you. For example, an enquiry that does not develop into an ongoing business relationship may be retained for a shorter period than records relating to an active or previous client engagement.

We periodically review information we hold and delete or anonymise information that is no longer reasonably required.

09

Marketing communications

Sending an enquiry, contacting SaleSycle or submitting the Sales Engine Diagnostic does not by itself mean that you have agreed to receive general marketing emails from us.

If we introduce newsletters, regular insight emails or other marketing communications in the future, we will use an appropriate lawful basis and provide a clear way to opt out where required.

You can ask us to stop sending direct marketing communications at any time.

10

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis on which your information is processed, UK data protection law may give you rights including:

  • The right to ask for access to personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • The right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • The right to ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • The right to object to certain uses of your personal information.
  • The right to data portability where the legal requirements for that right apply.
  • The right to withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis for processing.
Your right to object

Where we process your personal information on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing in certain circumstances. You also have the right to object at any time to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.

To exercise a data protection right, contact: enquiries@salesycle.com .

We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.

11

Keeping information secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.

No internet based service can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to use reputable technology providers and proportionate controls appropriate to the nature of the information we process.

12

Cookies and website information

The SaleSycle website may use technical functionality that is necessary to deliver, secure or operate the website.

If we introduce analytics, advertising, tracking technologies or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will review the consent and information requirements that apply and update our website accordingly.

Browser settings may also allow you to control or delete cookies stored on your device.

13

Questions or complaints

If you have a question or concern about how SaleSycle handles your personal information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it.

Email: enquiries@salesycle.com

You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent data protection regulator.

Information about raising a data protection complaint is available directly from the Information Commissioner's Office.

14

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to SaleSycle, the services we use or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date at the top of the policy will be amended when appropriate.
